The recent release of Pulse for the iPad seems to best what was to be Nik and my next product, which was code named Oatmeal. Code named Oatmeal cause it was to be, “the only thing you need in the morning”. So sad, but glad to have a great option out there… now we just need a better Twitter app for the iPad. Above is a mock-up of the app and it’s interactions.
The wife and I have been sitting down to more meetings on the next big project, and what could be the biggest undertaking that we’ve taken part in. So yesterday I finally got some server web space allocated, building some temp pages and we napkin’ed out the site map… just when I thought I was going to start getting sleep at night this comes along. More to come soon on this, as for now this is all we can tell you.
FOX 6 TV Interview
Talk about an interesting day. FOX 6 calls and introduces themselves at 3PM and are coming over at 5PM. The news reporter Chrystina Head (pictured above) turns out really has a hyphenated last name and is also a Massie! Sis? So The Smart Alarm got some air time on local Milwaukee Sunday news just in time for a winter storm coming in. Don’t say my app didn’t tell you so. Demo Video Shooting
You think that you’d be better at just explaining an App that you have been working on for over a year. But when it gets down to it…. stutter, trip, what the hell is a “Demostrination”? Who knows, but it’s new - use it! ;) After trying to shoot this video on this table, the kitchen table, I found a great App called SkinnyFinger that allow me to just record video off the Mac and an iPhone simulator. It’s 6 hours later from when we started and after the 10th attempt and syncing certificates, identities, profiles, etc…. the app has been uploaded for Apple App Store approval
In order to have a presence for the Smart Alarm and URL’s for the iTunes Store. I locked down and in the middle of working on my businesses website.
